1. Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that SHE Consulting — Success in Healthcare Education ("we", "our", "us") has taken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person's liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our business or in any of our supply chains.

2. Our Business

SHE Consulting is a healthcare education consulting company operating in the UK and India. Our services include:

• Healthcare simulation consulting and centre development
• Education programme design and delivery
• Quality improvement consulting
• Leadership training and development
• Events and conferences

We operate from locations in Doncaster, Hull, and London (UK) and India.

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include:

• Venue and event management providers
• IT and web hosting services
• Travel and accommodation providers
• Printing and marketing services
• Professional services (legal, financial, administrative)
• Sub-contracted consultants and trainers

4. Our Policies

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. The following policies and procedures are relevant to this commitment:

• Ethical conduct: We operate with integrity and expect the same of our partners and suppliers.
• Recruitment: We use only specified, reputable employment agencies to source labour, and always verify the practices of any new agency we engage. We pay at least the National Living Wage and ensure all workers have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Whistleblowing: We encourage all staff, contractors, and partners to report any concerns related to our direct activities or supply chain. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
• Supplier code of conduct: We expect our suppliers and partners to share our commitment to combating modern slavery and to comply with all applicable laws regarding slavery and human trafficking.

5. Due Diligence

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery, we:

• Assess and manage the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain, with particular attention to suppliers operating in higher-risk sectors or countries
• Require suppliers to confirm their compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking legislation
• Conduct due diligence on new suppliers and review existing suppliers on a periodic basis
• Include anti-slavery provisions in contracts with suppliers where appropriate
• Take steps to improve practices where issues are identified, including termination of relationships with suppliers who fail to meet our standards

6. Risk Assessment

We have assessed the principal risks of modern slavery in relation to our business and supply chain. Given the nature of our services (professional consulting and education), we consider our overall risk to be low. However, we remain vigilant, particularly in respect of:

• Sub-contracted services in countries where labour standards may be lower
• Event venues and hospitality supply chains
• Any services procured from agencies or intermediaries

7. Training

We ensure that our staff and associates understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, and know how to identify and report potential concerns. Training is provided as part of our induction process and updated periodically.

8. Key Performance Indicators

We will measure the effectiveness of our approach through:

• The number and nature of reports received regarding modern slavery concerns
• Completion of due diligence on new and existing suppliers
• Staff training completion rates
• Results of any audits or reviews of our supply chain
